Driveway Repair in Hildenborough

Tarmac usually fails at the edges first, or wherever water has found a way through a crack. We cut out the damaged area to a clean, square edge, check the base underneath, then lay and roll new tarmac and seal the joints so the repair stays bonded to the old surface.

When a Hildenborough tarmac drive has damage scattered all over it, separate patches can leave it looking like a quilt. In that case an overlay may make more sense, putting a new wearing course across the whole drive once the weak spots have been dealt with.

Concrete drives crack along their weakest lines, and once a section moves it can leave a trip edge. We break out the failed sections, prepare the ground beneath and pour new concrete with expansion joints, which gives the repair room to move with the rest of the slab.

An exact colour match with weathered concrete is difficult, and we will tell you that before starting. For a Hildenborough drive with widespread cracking, a new surface in tarmac or block paving may be the better choice, and we can price both options side by side.
