Groundworks in Maidstone

Groundworks is the part of a project nobody admires once it is finished, yet every structure and surface above depends on it. In Maidstone we prepare sites for new builds, extensions, driveways and car parks, getting the levels, drainage and foundations right before anything goes on top.

The firm has spent over 20 years on this kind of work, including contracts for Kent County Council and utility companies, so working to a specification and having that work inspected is familiar ground.

For larger and commercial schemes we take on civil work such as access road construction, drainage installed to approved designs, and reinstatement after utility work. Our Street Works Qualifications Register status covers work in the public highway, which matters when a new connection or access crosses the footway or road.

Developers, businesses and public bodies in Maidstone can hand us the whole groundwork package, knowing that excavation, drainage and surfacing are co-ordinated by a single contractor.
